PLEASE NOTE THAT UPTRACK WILL NOT OPEN FOR WINTER 2023-24. Misbehaving skins make hard days in the mountains even harder. As your contact point with the snow, skins are a critical part of moving efficiently and staying safe in the backcountry.When skins wear out, water and dirt become trapped in the glue making it gunky. Depending on the weather old skins will either lose their stick, or leave glue on your ski bases, or both.

  • Our process removes 100% of the old glue and applies fresh glue guaranteed to last in all weather conditions

  • We apply hot wax which makes every step you take more efficient and eliminates snow buildup

Glue info

We use the best skin glue available, Black Diamond Gold Label. Our testing over several seasons found this glue can hold up to many days of harsh backcountry abuse in all weather conditions: cold, warm, wet or dry. Normal users can expect the glue to last several seasons. Heavy users (30+ days/year) can expect our glue will hold up for at least 1 season. If you'd like to maximize your skin life, dry your skins after use, and use skin savers while in storage.

Wax info

Skin wax prevents water and ice from penetrating your skins, which improves glide, prevents balling and stops the skins becoming saturated with water in warm conditions.

How it works

You fill an order form, and then drop your skins at one of our drop locations, or mail them to us. We return the skins back after service is complete, usually within a week. We currently have a drop box in Vancouver only. If you live outside of these communities, choose to send the skins by mail on the order form.
